About Our Mural- Located at Rawlings Library 3rd Fl.
Corazón del Pueblo by David Ocelotl Garcia
In 2008, PCCLD received a grant from the Colorado Humanities for Dr. David Sandoval to write a book on the history of Latinos in Pueblo County. After the book was written, fund-raising was held to paint a mural based on the book. When the money was obtained a committee selected artist David Ocetotl Garcia. The mural is on the 3rd floor of the Rawlings Library.
