Website Accessibility Policy
Pueblo City-County Library is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements, and channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, PCCLD has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). The website is coded to allow individuals with vision and other impairments to understand and use the website to the same degree as someone without disabilities. We welcome feedback and will strive to resolve issues in a timely manner if they arise.
If you would like to learn about our building and in-person facilities, need special assistance or accommodations, please see our Assistive Services information here.
Compliance Procedures and Reports
In addition to annual testing and coding our website to WCAG standards, PCCLD regularly scans its website to ensure ongoing compliance and makes timely changes to any inaccessible items, if any are found.
Linked Documents and Third Parties
Please note that this site may link to documents and to third-party websites (vendors and resources) that may not have accessible content. This may also include documents in our reports or board packets, for example that we are striving to create as compliant files. While we cannot control the accessibility of content provided by third parties, we have made them aware of the standards and we are happy to assist any member of the public with reading and accessing content on our site.
Please note that certain files available for download from this website are Portable Document Format (PDF) files that require the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.
