The Henna Artist by Alka Joshi

 

 

Internationally bestselling author of the Jaipur Trilogy: “The Henna Artist,” “The Secret Keeper of Jaipur” and “The Perfumist of Paris.” Her debut novel, “The Henna Artist,” immediately became a New York Times bestseller and a Reese Witherspoon Pick. It has been translated into 29 languages and is currently in development at Netflix as a TV series. Alka was born in India and came to the U.S. with her family at the age of nine. She has a BA from Stanford University and an MFA from California College of Arts.

Each book club may request one table of 10 per club for the Public author talk at 11 a.m. on October 26, at Rawlings Library. Refreshments will be served. Limited reservations available. Doors open at 10:30 a.m.
