Awards Luncheon: This year's awards will be at the PCC Fortino Ballroom (900 W. Orman Ave.) on Tuesday, March 17, 11:30 a.m. (doors open at 11a.m.). Individual ticket sales will open February 16.
 
These awards honor individuals who have made important contributions to our community and celebrate the important role that women have played in Pueblo’s history. These awards provide an opportunity for any individual or organization to honor a special person who has made an impact. The only criteria is that the person must be a resident of Pueblo County currently or during the time the award honors. The person may be honored posthumously.

Note: A library representative will read each biography for each nominee at the awards luncheon. A person from each nominating organization may come to the stage with their honoree and present to them their award. 
Instructions: Biographies can be up to 200 words and must be typed.

Please indicate the number of each item and a custom invoice will be sent to the individual listed as the "nominator."

Note: Outside of the nomination form, all individual ticket sales will be available February 16 through March 3rd (or until sold out)

1. The nominee must be a resident of Pueblo County either now or during the time the award honors.

2. Nominations must be sponsored by an organization, club, association, individual, etc.

3. The nominating organization is responsible for preparing a brief biography (200 words or less) describing the woman’s accomplishments. The nomination form and bio will be added to the Robert Hoag Rawlings Public Library’s archives, and a brief summary will be included in a program that will be distributed at the awards luncheon. Please complete as much information on the nomination form as you are able to. A photo of the nominee is also requested. Past recipients will not receive a second award.

4. A representative of the nominating organization will present the award to their honoree.

5. The nominating organization will pay $100, which includes the honorees award and lunch. Checks must be made payable to Pueblo Library Foundation.

6. PCCLD will not judge the nominations. The person you choose to honor will be honored.

7. Nominations must be received by February 13, 2026.
