ALL PUEBLO READS PREVIEW
This year, All Pueblo Reads is crawling into the thrilling world of Bram Stoker’s Dracula, along
with its captivating prequel, Dracul, co-written by Bram Stoker’s great-nephew, Dacre Stoker!
We’re especially excited to announce that Dacre Stoker will be joining us in Pueblo this
November!
To ensure this year’s experience spans generations, we’re inviting our younger readers into the
shadows with two companion titles.
For our youngest readers, Ham Helsing: Vampire Hunter by Rich Moyer offers a clever and
humorous introduction to classic gothic themes, perfect for early and elementary readers!
And for our middle-grade adventurers: The Book of Blood by H.P. Newquist is a suspenseful
and atmospheric tale that sparks curiosity, mystery and a dash of STEM learning!
Together, these books create a shared reading experience that unites Pueblo readers from
childhood through adulthood, bringing our community together through the magic of storytelling
and conversation.

SUMMER READING TOTALS
Summer reading is designed to encourage young readers to continue to grow outside of the
classroom and with summer coming to an end, we invite those readers to help us finish strong!
As of Tuesday, July 21, 2026, we have 10,013 Summer Reading game boards turned in,
positioning us to crush last year’s total of 11,489, but we need YOUR help to achieve our goal!
“Seeing their excitement when they turn in their boards is the best part of our work. On top of
the reading challenge, families loved joining us for our wide variety of free programs and taking
advantage of free lunches provided in partnership with Pueblo School District 60. It’s been an
unforgettable summer of learning, fun, and community!” said Manager of Youth Services Rachel
Salazar.
