The Pueblo City-County Library District's (PCCLD) Rawlings Library is a designated depository library for the State of Colorado. PCCLD maintains a circulating collection of state documents for public use in paper and digital formats. The collection includes documents published during the past five years, as well as historical documents related to the Pueblo region. PCCLD partners with Colorado State University-Pueblo, which is a Federal Depository Library, to provide community access to Government Information. While PCCLD specializes in State Publications, the University Library collects approximately 46% of the information offered to libraries by the Federal Government, with emphasis in the following areas: business and finance, education, heath and safety, international affairs, politics and law, general reference and social sciences.

Pueblo Chemical Depot/Fort Carson
The Pueblo Chemical Depot and Fort Carson maintains their own publications and asks the Rawlings Library to provide a space on the shelf for these specific documents. Rawlings staff does not update or discard any of these documents. Representatives from each facility will visit the Rawlings Library when documents need to be updated and managed.
