Colorado Historic Newspaper Collection
Colorado's Historic Newspaper Collection (CHNC) currently includes 117 newspapers published in Colorado from 1859 to 1930. Newspapers come from 66 cities and 41 counties throughout the state, which were published in English, German, Spanish, or Swedish. Currently available newspapers include The Colorado Daily Chieftain/Pueblo Chieftain from 1872-1877 and The Colorado Weekly Chieftain from 1868-1880, both published in Pueblo.
