Learn about being a leader, make friends and have fun!
Do you want to learn how to be a leader, create positive change in your community, speak in public and give yourself a
headstart for life after high school? The Leadership Institute at the Pueblo City-County Library District is the program you’ve been looking for!
Women in grades 10-12 are invited to apply to be part of the first ever Leadership Institute, a fundraiser for the Pueblo Library Foundation.
This will be a life-changing opportunity to make friends, learn about leadership and impact the lives
of Pueblo’s citizenry through supporting the public library.
Orientation is in January and the cohort will meet once a month from February through June.
The program culminates with the Bal de Bibliotheque on July 15, 2017.
This ball will be a one-ofa-kind event where all participants
will be publicly recognized for their accomplishments and introduced to the community.
Proceeds benefit the Pueblo Library Foundation’s endowment fund.
Tuition for the program is $500. Several partial and full scholarships are available.
