us for a two-hour workshop conducted by Aimee Leverette, ProQuest's
Customer Education and Training Specialist. Discuss many search options
available through this software, learn great search tips and browsing options.
View the immense collection of national and international content currently
available. The 1940 United States Federal Census will be a highlight of this
program and time will be spent on how to browse and search this collection.

Anthropological genetic genealogy

Anthropological genetic genealogy is the application of genetics to traditional genealogy. This field involves the use of genealogical DNA testing to determine the level of genetic relationship between individuals. Angel Cervantes, coordinator of the New Mexico DNA Project, will lead this workshop. His presentation will focus on the basics of DNA testing -going from a paper trail to a DNA trail, and alternatives for testing. This presentation will also chronicle the New Mexico DNA project that aids individuals, with roots in New Mexico, in confirming and validating their genealogical research.
