Author Stacey Edgar speaks about her book Global Girlfriends. Edgar created Global Girlfriends, a socially conscious business that has helped poor women in five continents feed their families and send their children to school. The novel Global Girlfriends is Edgar's inspiring story of following her convictions and her passionate argument for simple actions we can all take to eliminate extreme poverty. A book sale and signing will take place immediately following Edgar's presentation. This event is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be served.
